PC Tip of The Day

REDUCING SPACE FOR RECYCLE BIN
The Windows recycle Bin sets aside a portion of your hard drive in which to store delted files. The amount of hard drive that recycle Bin claims can be hundreds of megabytes. When filled up, it would slow down your computer unless you choose to empty the Recycle Bin from time to time. It is thereafore advisable that you reduce the amount of space devoted to Recycle Bin by right-clicking the Recycle Bin icon on your desktop and choosing Properties from the pop-up menu. Now use the "Maximum Size" slider bar to reduce the percentage of your hard drive devoted to Recycle Bin. - dpa (Intech, Tuesday 17 April 2007 HOME USER)
